人口与耕地[edit]
据博雅地名网，全村总人口3122人，耕地1050多亩，设党总支一个，共有党员37人，统计年份未注。村子以纯农业为主，种植水稻和蔬菜。[1]
产业[edit]
首批「广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」名单于2020年8月由广东省农业农村厅公布，南山尾村凭油茶入选。[1]
“十四五”期间，镇里以油茶为特色打造农业项目，南山尾村获「一村一品专业村」称号。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1999年改为村委会，沿用至今；1990年设管理区；1986年称村委会；1984年撤生产大队，设乡政府；1978年由一个大队分为两个；1961年划归金和管辖，原为南联大队。[1]
