贡山村位于棉湖镇东北部，是离镇区较远的村委之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年，贡山设为一乡，隶属普宁钟堂区。1954年改属普宁洪阳区，1958年称贡山营，1962年为贡山大队。1964年划归普宁赤岗公社，1975年改隶揭西县棉湖镇。1983年设贡山乡政府，1986年成为村委会，1990年设管理区办事处，1999年复为村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
共产党员王波群生于1956年，1975年入伍，牺牲于1985年的对越自卫反击战，终年29岁。他的骨灰原葬于本村，墓地为一般不可移动文物。[2]
