四乡村位于棉湖镇西南角，与普宁市交界，村内有迎宾路、花园路和五十米大道等主干道穿过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村落在明代（1368年至1644年）已建寨。清末时隶属普宁县黄坑都，民国时属普宁安溪乡。1949年后先归普宁梅塘区，1958年划入大坝公社。1972年单设一个大队，1975年改隶揭西县棉湖镇。其后历经乡级建制、管理区办事处等变化，1999年定为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内文物古迹有公公宫和刘厝寨石碉楼等。[1]2024年3月，刘厝寨金狮举行省市县三级非遗揭牌仪式。[2]
文化[edit]
2024年3月，村被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
