历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年，赤新大队属凤江人民公社。1984年2月，大队撤销，凤江区改设赤新乡政府。1986年起称赤新村委会，1990年归凤江镇政府管辖为赤新管理区，1999年又以赤新村委会之名定型，沿用至今。[2]
