凤江镇位于广东省揭阳市揭西县东南部，东面隔榕江与棉湖镇相望，西邻金和镇，北邻塔头镇，南面与普宁市梅塘镇接壤，镇政府驻桥头社区。全镇以平原为主，凉果加工是其主导产业，已有近五十年历史；2025年，凤江镇入选广东省“百千万工程”专业镇。[1][2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

此地的建制屡有变动。1951年自凤安区析出，初称第六区；1957年改为凤江乡，1958年并入棉湖人民公社，1961年又自棉湖公社分出，组建凤江镇人民公社。1983年10月复称凤江区，1986年改为凤江镇（博雅地名网另一页作1988年）。[2][3]

地名的来历：凤江区最初由凤湖、阳夏、鸿江三地组成，各取凤湖的“凤”字与鸿江的“江”字，定名为凤江。[2]

地理环境[edit]

全镇以平原为主，只有阳西村和赤新村两村境内有低矮山地，共787.1亩。博雅地名网据2000年12月统计载，全镇耕地25791亩，旱地1668亩。[3]

东侧临榕江，与棉湖镇隔河相望。面积的记载不一：百度百科作34.66平方千米，博雅地名网作33.675平方千米，两者均未注统计年份。[1][3]

镇内河棉公路贯穿境内；2026年9月的镇新闻称，塔凤路全线升级改造正在推进。[3][9]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科载全镇2018年末户籍人口87699人。博雅地名网则载，第七次全国人口普查结果显示全镇人口为6.33万人。[1][2]

经济[edit]

凉果加工是凤江镇的核心产业。全镇有凉果加工生产企业83家，出品的凉果蜜饯品类多达120多种，销往国内外市场。2012年，凤江镇已获评「揭阳市凉果加工专业镇」。[5]

镇政府新闻称，凉果加工产业产值为3.286亿元，占全镇农业总产值的53%；镇政府工作报告则称，凉果产业链年产值超过5亿元，带动就业超过5000人。两项数字口径不同，此处并列。[4][8]

2025年，全镇农林牧渔业总产值7.1亿元，规模以上工业总产值12.2亿元，固定资产投资2.31亿元，税收收入1125.96万元。规模以上工业企业18家，其中高新技术企业6家，专精特新企业3家。产业布局以电线电缆、休闲食品为主导。[4]

2025年粮食播种面积约3.9万亩，总产量1.5万吨。[4]

2025年9月，凤江镇凭借凉果加工产业入选广东省「百千万工程」专业镇。[5]

全镇15个行政村已完成“百千万工程”村庄发展规划制订。花寨村为第二批典型村，2024年通过创建验收；鸿江村为第三批典型村，2025年通过县级验收；东光村与凤北村为第四批培育对象。[4]

农村生活污水治理项目基本完工，配套铺设的雨污分流管网长约42.97公里，覆盖10个行政村的范围；日处理污水约17000吨，由3个污水处理厂与9个污水处理站共同承担；凉果企业废水治理设施已全部覆盖。[4]

文化[edit]

鸿江朱家教拳是流传于本镇的武术，2022年列入「广东省第八批省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录」，详见鸿江村。[7]

凤湖橄榄为本镇特产，据百度百科产于凤南后角村，属广东省六种优良橄榄之列，果肉白色而香甜酥脆。[6]

著名人物[edit]

林逸（1909—1984），画家，本镇沙堀村人。1933年考入上海美术专科学校，受教于国画家刘海粟。[2]
