东桥园村是广东省揭阳市揭西县东园镇下辖的行政村，村域面积1.81平方千米，村内出过革命人物林美南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年前称东园大队。1984年2月大队撤销，并入东园乡；1986年设村民委员会，1990年改为管理区，1999年改设村委会，此名沿用至今。[2]

东桥园村以玉米产业入选第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，相关名单于2021年9月由广东省农业农村厅发布。[1]

经济[edit]

2009年底，全村有642户，人均可支配收入约4559元，村集体经济约21万元。[1]

著名人物[edit]

林美南（1909～1955年），笔名缪南，出生于本村。他幼年失怙，家道清寒；1924年靠姑母供给学费，此后在五经富一带的教会小学和道济中学念书，1927年初进入揭阳榕江中学就读。[1]
