历史沿革[edit]

该村党组织梅园党支部成立于抗日战争时期，解放战争中利用地下联络点开展革命活动。[3]

旧住村在2023年11月入选第三批全国乡村治理示范村。[1] 2023年11月，旧住村入选广东省「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1] 2024年4月，旧住村列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1] 2024年11月，旧住村被确定为「2024年广东省美丽庭院特色村」。[1] 2025年5月，旧住村入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年，旧住村获得65万元乡村振兴专项资金，用来建设幸福驿站：内有老人活动中心、长者食堂，还设民宿，工程已基本完成。[3] 2025年，村长者饭堂投入运营，日均服务60人次。[4] 村里修缮红色遗址、建设党建公园，依托绿美生态建设打造滨江长廊。[2]
