大岭下村位于京溪园镇西北部，沿五灰公路分布。村东面是员墩村，南面连着岭溪村，北面紧邻五经富镇。[1]村中有420户，共1726人（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。[1]

村内耕地面积620亩。博雅地名网载2009年农民人均纯收入为4326元。[1]村委会通过多种渠道筹措资金建设农田水利灌溉工程，解决了长时间干旱影响农业生产的问题。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958至1983年间村为大岭下大队；1984年2月生产大队撤销后设大岭下乡政府。1986年改设大岭下村委会，1990年设管理区办事处，1999年再称大岭下村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

著名人物[edit]

陈权（1917～1977年）是本村人，早年在本村私塾读书，后在灰寨一带小学做勤杂，边做工边学文化，在进步教师的帮助下开始接受进步思想。[1]陈自愿（1929～1945年）同样是本村人，1944年15岁时参加潮汕人民抗日游击队，任交通员和卫生员。[1]
