甲溪村位于京溪园镇西南部，村境青山绿水，属革命老区。[1]全村总人口2316人（博雅地名网所载，未注年份），人均可耕地较少。[1]2022年1月，村被广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]

村内农田2800多亩，人均可耕地面积少。博雅地名网载2009年村集体经济收入为3.5万元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

甲溪大队存续于1953至1983年间。1984年2月生产大队撤销，村改设甲溪乡政府；1986年成立村委会，1990年设为甲溪管理区办事处，1999年重新称甲溪村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
