新其村位于揭西县大北山麓，平均海拔800多米，属亚热带雨林气候。[1]

2020年8月，新其村以佛手茶入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1] 2023年5月，新其村获评「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1] 2019年9月，新其村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1910年，有人从五华县迁来，在其头湖一带定居。1999年改设新其村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村中山林出产苦笋。2025年6月的报道称，当年苦笋丰收，村里合作社的加工车间对鲜笋依次焯水、去皮、精筛和分装。[2]
