五经富镇是广东省揭阳市揭西县下辖的镇，位于县境东北部，东接揭东区龙尾镇，北邻丰顺县，西与南山镇、良田乡相连，南接京溪园镇，是潮汕平原西进山区的主要通道。[1] 全镇下辖2个社区和26个行政村（2024年数字），2012年时据载有91个自然村。[1] 镇名据传与元代一位曾姓先祖有关：他迁居此地后设铺打铁，起初称“五间铺”，因当地读书风气浓厚、经书积累丰富，改名五经富。[2]
五经富镇是揭西县三个中心城镇之一。[2] 2002年被列为广东省中心镇，[1] 2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」，[2] 2025年入选「广东省“百千万工程”第二批典型镇」，[1] 2026年入选「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」名单。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地归蓝田都管辖，民国时属揭阳县第三区。解放初，先是龙江乡，随即改作新龙区；次年初，它与南联区合并为南龙区。1956年设立五经富区。公社时期，京溪园于1965年从中划出另成一社，大洋则在1976年析出；这些变动都以1958年成立的五经富公社为基础。1983年区名仍为五经富，1986年才改称镇。2003年12月30日，大洋乡撤销并入本镇。[2][3]
人口与经济[edit]
2020年末，全镇常住人口为3.84万人；镇域面积为168.66平方公里，数据取自2020年国土变更调查。[7] 2012年，全镇工农业总产值为12.16亿元。[1]
特产有腊肠、蜂蜜、苦笋、茶叶、番薯和咸菜。[1]
文化[edit]
百度百科称五经富镇为客家文化名镇。[1] 五经富传统文化促进会党支部于2024年8月成立，组建火龙、龙狮、英歌、秧歌、鼓乐五支队伍，队员120余人，并恢复了中断30多年的传统“弦诗”演奏。[4] 2026年春节期间，促进会举办了「烧烟架」「舞火龙」大型非遗展演。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
永泰楼位于大寮村，清乾隆十六年（1751年）由邹益坤创建。建筑采用潮汕民居最高等级的“百鸟朝凰”格局，同时融入客家围屋的做法。[6] 1993年列为揭西县文物保护对象，1998年族人集资修缮祠堂主体；楼前古榕树与乾隆年间的功名旗杆夹仍然保存。[6]
龙颈水库位于镇内，是榕江南河支流五经富水上游的水库。1958年动工，1960年4月竣工，总库容约1.9亿立方米，建成后陆续扩建加固，前后工程延续到1961至1998年间。[5] 库区有“小三峡”之称，是揭阳市重要的饮用水水源地之一。[5]

陈子达（1915～1973年），陈江村人，1934年入湖南湘雅医学院，1940年毕业后在南京中央医院任医师，1944年赴印度入热带病学院学习。[2] 曾广（1912～1983年），原名祥光，下油房村人，早年毕业于道济中学，1929年前后投身农村新文化工作。[2] 曾兆春（1881～1956年），爱国华侨，庵背村人，1925年东渡南洋。[2]
