火炬村是南山镇东北部的行政村，村中保存有解放战争时期的革命旧址，近年以红色旅游为发展重点。[1][2]

村名与面积[edit]

村名原作龙跃坑，因山脉形如双龙会水而来。1958年改用现名，取“星星之火，可以燎原”之意。[2][3]

2020年，揭西县人民政府办公室网站称该村面积4.8平方千米，博雅地名网则载其总面积为6291.1亩。两说并存，未作取舍。[4][1]

革命历史[edit]

1948年5月，抗征队指挥机构自大北山迁到龙跃坑，并设司令部、后勤部、兵工厂和军政法庭等机构。[3][5]

中共潮汕地委1949年6月曾迁入村中北山楼的李氏祖祠，并在此设电台。[5]

革命旧址[edit]

村中保存七处较完好的革命旧址，包括中共潮汕地委旧址（李氏祖祠）和潮汕人民抗征队成立旧址等。[3]

潮汕军政法庭旧址设于龙跃村应升公厅，抗征队司令部、后勤部旧址设于李秉舟家，兵工厂旧址在村侧李新开家的一处独立房屋；三处均为一般不可移动文物。[5]

红色旅游[edit]

2021年，以本村为核心的「红色热土、多彩乡村」红色旅游线路入选第三批「广东省乡村旅游精品线路」，年接待游客超过30万人次。[3]

2025年12月，揭阳市文化广电旅游体育局综合评定，火炬村乡村旅游景区确定为3A级旅游景区。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2017年12月，火炬村列入广东省委组织部「红色村」党建示范工程。[4]

2020年1月，火炬村被评为「揭阳十大美丽乡村」，同年列入第二批「国家森林乡村」名单。[4]

2019年，火炬村获评揭阳市首批市级党员教育基地。[4]

2021年2月，火炬村列入第八批「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2023年11月，入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1]
