历史沿革[edit]
解放初，村地属龙潭乡。1958年至1983年为南福田大队；1986年成立南福村委会，1990年划为南福田管理区，1999年又设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村内的天明鹧鸪饲养场创建于1984年，是特色家禽养殖基地。[2]
2021年9月，村入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产业为柑橘。[1]
