菜仔园村是龙潭镇南部的一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年至1983年，村地为菜仔园大队，隶属龙潭公社。1986年起称菜仔园村委会，1990年设为菜仔园管理区办事处，1999年重新定为村委会，名称延续至今。[1]
2019年9月，村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
经济[edit]
2019年底，全村71户185人实现稳定脱贫，这一工作由东莞市万江街道对口帮扶完成。村里以“合作社+基地+农户”的方式发展特色种植，流转土地发展现代农业。[2]
