客潭村位于河婆街道东部山区，距县城约2公里，是河婆街道下辖的行政村之一[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期称客潭乡，1958年至1983年属客潭大队，1984年改设客潭乡政府，1986年成为客潭村委会，1990年设管理区办事处，1999年改称客潭村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

文化旅游[edit]

过路塘风景区位于本村。该景区有古驿道风貌，1990年被揭西县人民政府列为文物保护单位[1][2]。

社区荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会评定客潭村为「2022年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，客潭村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
