宫墩村位于县城南面，离县城约1.5公里，下辖宫墩、龙尾2个自然村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年2月撤销生产大队后设宫墩乡政府，1986年成为宫墩村委会，1990年设管理区办事处，1999年才改称宫墩村民委员会[1]。

文化旅游[edit]

天竺岩景区位于本村。博雅地名网记，天竺岩在河婆镇南面约4公里的明山东麓，1989年列为县级文物保护单位，1995年开放[1][2]。

社区荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，宫墩村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
