乡肚村位于河婆街道北部，距县城约6公里，属水库移民村，下辖17个自然村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

当地山区偏僻，地方话称山间的凹处为“肚”，村委会驻地在乡肚村，村名因此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年为生产大队，此后于1984年2月改设乡肚乡政府，1986年成为乡肚村委会，1990年才有管理区办事处的设置，1999年定名为乡肚村民委员会[1]。

社区荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，乡肚村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月，乡肚村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
