河山社区位于揭西县县城中心，是河婆街道下辖的社区之一[1]。

地名由来[edit]

1984年，县城按规划在细山下村新建一片居民区，社区取名时各取“河婆”的“河”和“细山下”的“山”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年设立河山居民委员会，2002年改名为河山社区居民委员会，此名沿用至今[1]。

辖区内有河山市场，周边集中了服饰、鞋帽等商铺以及药店和诊所[1]。
