河坑村是广东省揭阳市揭东区龙尾镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，村民以务农为生，全村292户、人口1180人。[1][2]

地理与交通[edit]

村下辖上寨、老寨、下寨三个小自然村，各村落以老寨为中心，彼此相隔将近一公里；四周群山环绕。[2]

村子离揭陆路约4公里多，山路蜿蜒，交通不便。东北至西南一带是卅岭农场的橡胶园。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

康熙年间建村。民国时期归南塘局桐坑乡，1949年划入卅岭区，1958年改属磐岭公社。[1]

1960年，村子并入国营卅岭农场；1965年转归龙尾公社。[1]

1985年改设行政村，1986年设河坑村委会，至今沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

1953年，省里认定本村为革命老区村，记有革命烈士6位。[2]

2019年9月，河坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
