高明村是广东省揭阳市揭东区龙尾镇下辖的行政村，坐落于镇域西部：西面紧挨揭西县五经富镇，南面毗连国营卅岭农场，北面与丰顺县埔寨镇接壤，省道S335线横穿全村。[1][2]

人口8889人、2022户，面积7.4平方千米；五个自然村分别是上村、下村、池贝、门岭和梧桐。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明天启年间已有村落，清朝归霖田都管辖。1937年起定名高明。[1]

1951年，村子划入卅岭区；1953年又改归磐岭区；1957年隶属白塔乡。1958年并入磐岭公社高龙营，1961年转由龙尾公社管辖。[1]

1983年曾称高明乡；1986年设高明村委会，之后未再变动。[1]

乡村建设与规划[edit]

2024年10月，龙尾镇就《高明村村庄规划（2024-2035年）管理通则》草案公开征求意见，公示期为30天。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，本村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱国卫生运动委员会颁授。[1]

2023年4月，「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单公布，高明村在列。[1]

2023年11月，高明村入选广东省「百千万工程」首批典型镇村。[1][3]
