广和村位于白塔镇北部，与桂岭镇的玉步、西山、客洞等村接壤，交通便利。[1]

2017年，村子获评第一批「广东省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明天启年间已有村落，民国时期属揭阳县磐溪都。1958年改由白塔公社领导，设广和大队；1959年又改设广和乡；村委会于1986年设立，至今沿用。[1]

文化[edit]

村里争取到泰国华侨捐资，建成占地50多亩的古沟华侨学校。2008年，村党总支被镇委评为先进基层党组织。[1]

经济[edit]

2021年10月和2022年10月，阿里研究院公布的淘宝村名单都列有广和村。[1]
