红坡村在白塔镇西北部，与玉湖镇、埔寨镇、龙尾镇相接。[1][2]

村里以种养、养殖和劳务收入为主，上世纪九十年代初，村中近半数村民已到珠三角各市区谋生。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期村地属揭阳县磐溪都。1958年归白塔公社，1971年分出设立红坡大队，1986年设立村委会，沿用至今。[1][2]

经济[edit]

外出乡贤和社会人士在几年间多次捐资，用于修路、办学和公益设施建设。[1][2]
