历史沿革[edit]
村子明万历年间已经建村，原名谢厝寮，民国时期称广福围。1958年改称广联村，此后的1959年划归白塔公社，由广联大队负责。1983年起属白塔区，设广联乡政府；村委会于1986年成立，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村内现有鱼池约400亩、龙眼基地600亩、生态林3000多亩，耕地1823亩，山坡地936亩，未注明统计年份。[1][2]
经济[edit]
2009年，全村工农业总产值为2162万元。村子是揭东县的农业科技示范点。[1]
