历史沿革[edit]
村落创建于元致和年间。民国时期属磐溪都，1949年归磐东区月城乡，1958年为磐东公社月城大队，1975年改属月城公社。[1]
1983年划入月城区，改称月城乡；1986年设立月城村委会，1990年改名为月城寨内村委会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
镇道英篮线纵贯全村，村子的交通条件较好。[1]
经济[edit]
村中有400多家塑料、五金加工厂场，废塑料加工使寨内村成为揭阳及粤东地区的废品购销集散地。[2]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，寨内村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
