联东村位于广东省揭阳市揭东区霖磐镇西部，与桂岭镇福岗村接壤，与本镇德中村、南塘村、联西村相邻，村境内有揭陆线经过，离揭普高速公路约500米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄创建于明崇祯年间。1986年才成立联东村委会。在此之前，村地于1983年称霖磐区联东乡，1958年为磐西公社联南大队的一村，1949年归磐西区联南乡。[1]

建设[edit]

据2022年政府工作报告，联东村等村的6个村级公建卫生站正在加快建设，以实现村级公建卫生站全覆盖。[3]

据2025年5月的政府工作报告，联东村与联西村正在推进美丽宜居村创建。[4]

荣誉[edit]

联东村于2019年9月入选一份名单，其内容为2018年度广东省民主法治示范村创建单位。[1]
