莲花心村位于埔田镇偏东部，东与新龙村相接，西与老岭村相接，南与埔田村相接，北与老龙村相接。村民收入以竹笋和外出务工为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清雍正年间村子形成，先隶属揭阳县梅岗都崇义乡。民国时属揭阳县第4区梅北乡，1949年改属梅岗区。1955年组成初级合作社，次年升为高级社，1957年划入埔田乡。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年全村工农业总产值为843万元，人均收入4681元。[2]
文化[edit]
村里的竹编囊椅制作工艺，被认定为「揭东区第三批区级非物质文化遗产」之一。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2005年，村党支部获镇党委授予先进基层党组织称号。[2]
2019年9月，莲花心村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
