历史沿革[edit]
1957年，村子归揭阳县梅岗区的庵后乡；1986年起设庵后村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
2000年，以庵后竹笋基地为基础的全镇竹笋生态园，被省里列为揭阳市现代化示范园区项目。村里之后引进竹笋加工企业，形成公司、基地与农户结合的发展模式。[2]
十四五期间，村里的棋北农贸市场完成升级改造；政府报告称，这个市场每年能为集体带来十万元上下的收入。[3]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有庵后围龙屋，是埔田镇的历史建筑之一。[4]
荣誉[edit]
2009年度，村子先后获揭东县评定的“文明单位”和“安全文明村”。[2]
2020年8月，庵后村以竹笋入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
2026年1月，庵后村获「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
