湖下村位于埔田镇中部，南邻牌边村，北邻埔田村，处在镇中心的经济繁华地带。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明朝嘉靖年间，村民从福建迁来定居。村子东面和北面散布着大小湖泊，北面一湖较大，村子位于湖下，因此得名湖下村。[1]
基础设施[edit]
十四五期间，湖下村建设了封闭式垃圾转运站，并落地了“九三书屋”。[2]
