溪南山村属革命老区，在埔田镇西南，靠近揭东县城。东面是曲溪街道的路篦村，西面与饶平村交界，北面连着牌边村，南边与曲溪的埔村相接。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清嘉庆年间，村子始建。1951年归揭阳县梅岗区溪南山乡；1986年撤区并镇后，改设溪南山村民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，早先有陈姓人家从渔湖溪南一带搬来，如今全村多是陈姓（年份不详）。[2]

经济[edit]

村里以种植竹笋、香蕉和蔬菜为主，发展三高农业。[2]
