历史沿革[edit]
关于建村时间，博雅地名网的概况称始创于康熙年间，历史沿革部分则写为宋朝立寨，两说并存。1951年，村子归揭阳县梅岗区的饶平乡；1986年设饶平村民委员会。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
村里旧有陈、黄、吕、罗四个姓氏，后吕姓改为陈姓，现以陈姓为主。陈氏始祖从饶平县黄岗一带迁来定居，其后代分散到镇内外多处。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，饶平村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
基础设施[edit]
村里试办了2座新能源充电桩，每年为集体经济增收八万多元；村里还实施了富安亭文化公园的提升工程。[3]
