刘厝寨村在埔田镇西北一带，背靠大弧山，与锡场镇新置寨村和南湖村相邻。村名因刘姓居多而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明末建寨，原名刘厝寨。清乾隆年间，徐氏、刘氏迁来聚居，此后又有朱氏等人陆续迁入。解放前后称永盛乡，隶属梅岗区；1958年改为埔田公社下的刘厝寨大队，1983年成为刘厝寨乡，1986年后设刘厝寨村民委员会。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，刘厝寨村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村民种植竹笋、香蕉和蔬菜，也有人经营商贸和小加工业。[2]

十四五期间，村里的农贸市场完成升级改造。[3]
