荖洋村坐落在黄岐山内、藤吊岭脚下，左边有藤吊岭，右边流着龙车溪。博雅地名网称建村已有四百多年，村名在部分资料中写作荖洋村。[1][2]

博雅地名网称，村子已有四百多年历史。2007至2010年间，村里编写了村史。[2]

基础设施[edit]

2001至2002年，村里在龙车溪畔建起荖洋小学；2005年建成村政办公楼；2008年办起教育基金会，这在镇内是首创。[2]

十四五期间，荖洋村建设了封闭式垃圾转运站。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2008年，村子得到揭东县的表彰，获“文明单位”与“先进基层党组织”称号。[2]

2020年8月，荖洋村以竹笋入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
