金东岭村地处靠近山区的一带，南面与车田村相接，西南与锡场镇华清村接壤。博雅地名网称它是革命老区，村前山上有滕吊岭，岭上多怪石与石刻。[1]

经济[edit]

竹笋是村里的主要产业。2024年4月的人民日报报道称，全村种竹约6000亩，年产竹笋约2万吨；单是金东岭村，便有六百余户从事竹笋行业。[2]

村民的笋产品销往广西、福建、湖北等地，竹笋的罐头、笋干和酸笋等深加工产品也在发展。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

“万亩竹林”观光路的生态绿道一期工程已经建成投用，成为竹林游览的路线之一。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

2025年10月，镇里批准了金东岭村的村民小组调整安排，新设小组的组长、副组长选举放在2026年村委会换届时一并进行。[4]
