马料堂村位于玉湖镇西南部，地理位置较好，交通方便，村中以荔枝、龙眼、橄榄等果树种植为主要产业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明初建寨。1950年属新圩区，1957年归玉湖公社，1958年改属马联乡，1959年又划入新亨公社的第十一管理区，1984年改称马料堂大队，1986年设村委会。[1]
