村内现有人口4552人，耕地一千四百余亩，山地一千一百余亩，村党总支下设5个党支部，有党员94人，资料年份未注明。[1][2]

2009年村民人均纯收入为5346元。[1]

2011年12月，姑山村入选第三届「全国文明村镇」名单。[1]

2024年政府工作报告把姑山村列为玉湖镇重点打造的示范村、典型村之一。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清康熙年间建寨。新中国成立前后曾称姑山乡，1959年改为姑山大队，1984年又设姑山乡，1986年成立村委会。[1]
