2019年9月，石洋村被列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2020年9月、2021年10月、2022年10月，石洋村先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时，村地属揭阳蓝田都。1949年划归蓝东区义康乡，1957年改设石洋乡，1958年并入锡场公社。1984年由数个自然村合并组成石洋行政村，1986年设石洋村委会。[1]
产业[edit]
五金配件是村里较突出的产业，从电子喇叭配件的制造、加工到装配已连成一条完整的生产链，产品销往国内外。村里食品加工也已起步。[1]
