池渡村是玉滘镇西南部的行政村，位于枫江中游，三面环绕枫江，由池渡、山美两个自然村组成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子创建于清道光年间，原称池厝渡。1951年编为十五乡，1953年改隶梅东区。1957年设池渡大队，1958年称池渡营，1959年改称池渡生产大队。1984年设池渡乡，1986年设池渡村委会，延续至今。[1]
地理[edit]
村境三面环绕枫江，形成池渡半岛，并设有下乡、田东、玉美三个渡口。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2005年3月，村被定为县固本强基工程示范点。2022年1月，村被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年1月，村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1][2]
