半洋村是玉滘镇的行政村，位于揭阳与潮安交界处，由半洋、东边、东洋三个村民小组组成。省道335线与广梅汕铁路在村北侧并行穿过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年隶属官硕村。1957年成为玉滘乡下的东洋高级农业合作社，1971年改称东洋生产大队。1983年归半洋乡人民政府管辖，1986年组建半洋村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年，村中工农业产值合计5232万元；村民收入方面，人均为4921元。陶瓷手工业与花木、果类特色农业是村里的主要支柱。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
