历史沿革[edit]
1949年，此地建起农民协会；1954年归程畔乡管辖。1957年组建饶美生产高级合作社，翌年改称饶美生产管理区，1959年成为饶美生产大队。1963年由四处合为一个大队，称饶美大队。1983年设饶美乡，1986年设饶美村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中经济以珠绣手工业和种养业为主。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2009年，村党总支获中共揭东县委、县政府授予文明单位称号。2019年9月，村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
