经济[edit]
2009年，全村工农业总产值达6370万元，人均收入为5104元。[2]
村中养殖鳖，毛织加工、雏鸡养殖等也初具规模，农业产业形成了一定优势。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村落始建于清顺治年间。1961年拆出自立生产队，1983年起改属云路区，1984年改设象岗乡，村委会于1986年设立，至今沿用。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
梅林寺位于村内龟山路，创建于明洪熙年间。潮阳灵山寺、潮州开元寺和揭阳双峰寺同属「四大丛林」之列。清光绪年间寺院曾遭火灾并修复，后又坍塌；宗教部门于1993年9月批准重修，1994年初设立复建理事会，此后建成大殿、钟鼓楼和山门。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村先后入选阿里研究院公布的「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
