古湖村处于云路镇北部，与梅坛、下径、象岗三村相接，云宝大道穿过全村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村落始建于清嘉庆年间。民国时期属梅岗都，1959年改称古湖大队，1974年独立成生产大队，1986年成立村委会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月，「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单公布，村名列其中。[1]
