洪住村位于云路镇东北部，背靠小北山，汕梅高速公路经过村前，与埔田镇和揭阳监狱相邻。[1]

产业[edit]

村民近半数已离开农业，从事瓷业生产或中华鳖养殖，陶瓷业是村里的主要经济支柱。农业也逐步转型，原来的粮食种植改为苗木和风景树种植。[2]

经济与基础设施[edit]

2009年，村里修建了3公里水泥村道，耗资128万元。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期这里叫鸿聚村（属梅岗区），1953年组成鸿聚高级农民合作社。1957年起称梅岗公社洪住生产大队；1961年划入云路公社，称洪住大队；1986年设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村先后入选阿里研究院公布的淘宝村名单。[1]
