村属革命老区，博雅地名网称村内为县工业新区，周边与县城接壤，交通便利。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
面头岭墓群位于村内面头岭南坡，是战国时期的墓葬遗址。百度百科载，这些墓葬自1973年4月起至1978年冬间陆续被发现，数量十余座；博雅地名网则作1974年4月起。[2][1]
其中牛堆战国墓规模最大，墓室平面方形，封土原高5米。墓中出土的青铜器有盘口鼓腹平底鼎、短銎铜钺等，陶器有瓮、罐和纺轮。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
