云路镇是广东省揭阳市揭东区东北部的一个镇，地处揭阳、潮州、汕头三市交界处，东距潮州市区约15千米，距揭阳市区约10千米。镇政府驻地在陇上村。[1]

镇名来自当地江氏家庙内姑娘宫的一副楹联，联中有「云谒瑞」「路迎祥」之句，遂取「云路」为名。全镇工业以五金、塑胶、食品等为主，农业以「古山二号」龙眼等果蔬为特色。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆三年（1738年）时，此地归揭阳县梅岗都管辖。民国初年划入枫口区，1949年后先后归梅岗区、梅东区。[4]

1957年撤区并乡时，云路乡由梅东区分出。1958年一度与玉滘、曲溪、埔田合并为梅岗社，1961年复分为四个公社。1983年改为区，1987年设镇，1991年12月划归揭东县。[4][5]

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积，博雅地名网载为67.2平方千米，百度百科的信息框则载为78.79平方千米。[3][1]

境内有车田河、乌桥溪、瓦窑溪等枫江支流，并有若干水库。[3] 广梅汕铁路和国道206线穿境而过。[1]

人口[edit]

2000年第五次全国人口普查时，云路镇人口为75215人。[5] 2021年第七次全国人口普查，镇人口数量为7.85万人，在揭东区各街道乡镇中居第6位。[2] 百度百科载2023年常住人口约9.15万人。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网所载2005年的材料中，全镇工业总产值为5.78亿元，农业总产值为26806万元。[3]

镇内工业以五金、塑胶和食品类产品为主。农业中古山二号龙眼最具代表性，荔枝、香蕉、竹笋和无公害蔬菜也有种植，养殖以甲鱼为多。[1][3]

民俗[edit]

镇内的民俗有祭祖时竖灯杆、升彩凤的习俗，也有狮舞（刘厝寨金狮）、锣鼓标旗队和摆猪羊；博雅地名网还把揭阳铁枝木偶列入镇内民俗文化。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，阿里研究院先后公布的2020年、2021年和2022年「淘宝镇」名单均有云路镇。2024年3月，镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[2]
