历史沿革[edit]

明景泰至天顺年间，林姓居民迁来此地创村，村庄原称江灏村。[1]

1951年设河中乡，1958年为河中生产大队，1983年重又称河中乡，1986年设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

60%的劳动力从事商贸和加工业。近年来，村内经济由以农业为主转向以工业为主，并已初具规模。[1]

村民每人每年平均收入在2009年为5722元。[1]

文化[edit]

河中村获得「第一批广东省卫生村」称号，授予方为广东省爱国卫生运动委员会，时间是2017年10月。[1]

村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间为2019年9月。[1]
