乔西村位于广东省揭阳市揭东区磐东街道内，村名的来历与所在方位有关，村中以五金和玉器加工为主，近年发展白玉加工贸易。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年改为磐东区乔西乡，1986年设立村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村内工业有五金、玉器、模具和服装加工等。近年规划建设玉器贸易加工区，其中白玉加工贸易最为突出，古乔白玉城即在其中，村庄因此被看作白玉专业村。[1]

文化[edit]

揭东区第六批区级非遗代表性项目中，有一项玉器金银错技艺（2024年12月23日公布），项目位于本村。[2]

人均年收入在2009年为5600元，村庄还获得市级卫生村、区级平安村称号。[1]

村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间为2019年9月。[1]
