乔东村位于广东省揭阳市揭东区磐东街道，地处榕江北河之滨，省道1930复线贯穿全境，村中以水稻、甘薯种植和五金、玉器加工为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在民国时期归揭阳县磐溪都管辖，1949年起划入磐东区。1986年设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省文物保护单位中有乔东大夫第与兰香楼一处，它由印尼坤甸侨领林毓瑞（1848年生、1926年卒）建成。[2]

村中的双忠庙为市级文物保护单位。烟灰火龙入选国家级非物质文化遗产，时间为2008年。[1]

2009年端午节，村里参加在广州市举行的「首届中国龙舟文化节」，获龙舟艺术表演赛金奖。[1]

村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间为2019年9月。[1]
