乔南村位于广东省揭阳市揭东区磐东街道东部，省道236穿村而过，产业以五金不锈钢和玉器的加工、销售为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中的勉勋公祠建于1892年，即清光绪十八年，祠堂由清末振威将军林保（1828～1898）联合族人林翔凤兴建，目的是祭祀先祖。[3]

1993年，此祠成为揭阳市级文物保护单位。[3]

经济[edit]

村里的玉石毛料交易场所有三处：乔南玉石公盘场、乔南缅格拉公盘场，以及乔宝玉石公盘场，形成集玉石材料公盘、切割与成品销售于一体的经营链条。[4]

2023年，村集体经济收入达到3200多万元。[4]

博雅地名网记载，2009年村集体固定资产为4171万元，村民人均年收入为5693元。[1]

2003年、2005年和2008年，村先后被省、市评为文明村。[1]

2023年11月，乔南村入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1][4]
