港畔村位于揭东县城东南部，毗邻揭东经济开发试验区，国道206线贯穿全村。村民多为南宋丞相江万里的后裔，村内保留清代的江氏家庙和大夫第等建筑。[1][2]

文物与民俗[edit]

江氏家庙又称思成堂，建于1724年（清雍正二年），是三门三殿的潮式祠堂建筑，属市级文物保护单位（百度百科）。村民传承「祭祖习俗（灯杆彩凤习俗）」，该习俗于2011年列入「第三批国家级非物质文化遗产扩展项目名录」，港畔社区因此获「彩凤之乡」美誉。[2][3][4]

经济与教育[edit]

2006年，人均收入为4230元，工农业总产值达14737万元（百度百科）。博雅地名网记土地面积为1600多亩，常住人口4776人（年份未注）。集体经济以商贸中心及厂房租赁为主。港畔小学始办于1912年（民国元年），2013年8月20日与龙砂小学并校，改称揭东区第七小学。[1][2]

近年荣誉[edit]

2021年，港畔村为省级美丽乡村示范村，并参与大港溪「灯杆彩凤，积厚流光」精品路线建设，该路线入选第二届广东十大美丽乡村评比；同年村集体经济组织完成股份份额制改革试点。[5]
