曲溪街道是广东省揭阳市揭东区的一个街道，区人民政府及区属各部门设于辖区内，地处榕城区以东约10公里处。国道206线穿越辖区，与省道335线在城区中心交汇；广梅汕铁路经城北通过。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属揭阳县崇义乡的梅岗都，民国初年划入揭阳第四区梅西乡。1949年冬，五个乡并为梅岗区，区内包括梅东、梅西、梅南、梅北与翔龙。1956年改称曲溪乡，1958年归入梅岗公社，1961年自其中分出曲溪公社。1984年由公社改设曲溪区，1987年改为镇。1991年12月划入揭东县，2006年2月撤镇设街道。[3][4]

地理环境[edit]

车田河发源于北山，流经辖区后注入榕江北河，河道弯曲，地名即由此而来。榕江北河曲溪港线全长8公里，沿岸设有货运码头。辖区距揭阳潮汕国际机场约15公里，距高速公路埔田入口约4公里。[2][3]

人口与经济[edit]

2021年第七次全国人口普查结果显示，街道人口为10.75万人，在揭东区各街道乡镇中居第2位。2021年，全街道规模以上工业总产值59.21亿元，限额以上商业企业销售总额45.5亿元，固定资产投资2.61亿元（含技改）。[1][5]

乡村建设[edit]

2021年，寨一、寨二、港畔、龙砂、云南、上围、陇埔共7个村被认定为省级美丽乡村示范村，并通过区级验收。全街道18个行政村的村道均已硬化，通车里程合计39.7公里。[5]

文化[edit]

「祭祖习俗（灯杆彩凤习俗）」以竖灯杆、升彩凤为核心形式，由江氏族人纪念南宋名相江万里，流传于曲溪街道与云路镇等地。该习俗于2011年列入「第三批国家级非物质文化遗产扩展项目名录」。[6]
